Pancakes

I bet I made you hungry already.

Today my mum was in a good mood and decided to make my favorite, pancakes. For those of you who don't already know what pancakes are, please find the nearest high place and throw your self off.

For those of you who do, thank god for knowing so. Anyway, back to my story.

Pancakes are served with toppings, that range from jam to honey to bananas, even butter maybe, or sometimes even pineapples.

Of course, you don't know Khaled, who drinks things worse than 2ater.

I put anything deep fried and smothered in chocolate (quote from fairy godmother in Shrek 2).

That is, I spread my pancake with Nutella, sprinkle some sugar, add some chopped bananas and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon. Ah, bliss.

I will bet you anything anyone with diabetes who ate this would drop dead on the spot. No offense to anyone who does have diabetes. But, er, you got the point.

Even my little brother/devil tried to make his own pancake, but I don't think he succeeded in doing so.

Career's Day

Today at school, a day named Careers Day was held.

Basically, what this day is about is that the school invites a few people to come and talk to the class. Not just any ordinary people, these are people who have jobs that will interest the students.

For example, today there were many employees who had come to our school. These included a lawyer, a pilot, a basketball player, an aircraft manufacturer, and some more.

Since all the students can choose whom they want to see independently, I chose to see the pilot and the lawyer. Nothing personal, I just seemed interested.

First up was the pilot, who was actually a pilot in the Jordanian Air Force. His presentation was rather nice, along with a few pictures to go with on the projector.

Sad thing that the videos he had brought hadn't worked. All in all, the pilot was good.

Next up was the lawyer, who didn't really wow me as much as the pilot. His voice was too low and he kept talking about the different courts, and reading to us the speech you must say before swearing to be blah, blah and blah.

I missed out on the basketball player, who turned out to be one in a famous Jordanian team. I'll get more information on him later.

I Got 91%

I got 91.25% this month, which is a great improvement for me, since I've been aiming to stay above 90% till the end of my school years.

My parents weren't really over the moon when they heard the mark, but at least they were okay with it.

Ah, well. Back to circle theorems.

A Piece Of Schake

I mean school, sorry.

Anyway, right now I'm doing some Math homework.

Of course, no circle theorem homework is interesting, and I say this with the strongest sarcasm, without a bit of music.

So, what better than the great, Lord Of The Rings soundtrack, that I downloaded one day from, err, sources... *cough* torrents *cough*.

It was a hefty 400 something megabytes, but because it is the best movie in the history of movies, I put it to download a few nights and it was done. LOTR I, II and III's soundtrack was on my hard drive.

Add to that The Perfect Hot Chocolate Drink ©, read this post for more about it, and you have have perfection.

I hope I'll be posting more often when I finish our mid-term exams.

Responsibility

When you believe that what others do is none of your business, remember this 7adeeth:

One's responsibility in his society is like a village that took their places on a ship, so that some where on the deck, and some where below deck.

When ever the group below deck wanted water, they had to ask the ones on top of them. Then they thought to themselves, why not make a hole in the ship, so we do not bother the other group, and get our water.

Now, if the group above deck allow them, they will all perish. But, if they stop them, they will survive, all of them.

The Digestive System

Argh, school projects are tiring.

Especially when you have to draw the digestive system.

Then put Christmas lights through the back to show where food goes.

But at least the final product is good and ready.

We did mess up the house a bit though.
